- Swedish patent nr 8104989-2 1983-07-21 Förfarande för inställning av en PID regulator. (Methods and an apparatus for tuning a PID regulator.) Co-inventor Tore Hägglund. Patent also granted in USA 4,549,123,1985-10-22, Canada 1 207 511,1986-03-04, Finland 77435,1986-12-19. This patent has resulted in substantial production in Swedish industry and exports.
- Swedish patent nr 189939. "Anordning för alstring av ett artificiellt tröghetsmoment hos ett roterbart anordnat system". (Device for creating an artificial moment of inertia in a rotating system.) Co-inventor Folke Hector Philips. Granted January 16 1964. Patent also granted in England, France, Holland, Canada, Germany, USA, Austria, Japan. This patent describes a new way of implementing Schuler tuning in an inertial guidance system. Systems have been built for military applications.
