About me
I joined the department of automatic control in September 2021. I obtained my bachelors degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013 and a masters in Robotics, Systems and Control from ETH Zurich in 2017. Afterwards, I joined the HiPeR Lab of UC Berkeley as a short-term research intern working with Professor Mark Mueller from June 2018 to December 2018. I was a research intern at Intelligent Control Systems of Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems under the supervision of Professor Sebastian Trimpe and Dr. Andreas Rene Geist from October 2019 to August 2020.
Research
My research interests are robotic motion planning and control. Particularly I want to address the question of how to plan the motion of and control a mobile manipulator in a way that
- is able to plan time-optimal trajectories where path, velocity and forces are considered simultaneously,
- is able to online track planned trajectories with velocity adjustments,
- is safe, resilient and efficient, and
- is robust to model uncertainties.
